The Tacx Unisex’s Neo 2 Smart Trainer Review

If you are already into cycling, then you have probably already heard of the cycling game Zwift. With this game you are able to use your smartphone or tablet to cycle with other people in virtual reality.

However, in order to enjoy this game properly, you need to have a turbo trainer that is compatible. The model that we have chosen as the best turbo trainer for Zwift is the Tacx Unisex’s Neo 2 Smart Trainer.

Taking the trainer out of the box, the first thing that we had to do was assemble it. This is one of the only negative points about the trainer. It took us a long time and the entire process was quite complex. However, there are plenty of helpful tutorials online.

One thing that we did notice once we had it assembled is that the trainer is quite heavy. However, it is made to be incredibly robust. Once we had it all set up, we were ready to test it out properly.

The first thing that really stood out to us was how accurate the Tacx Unisex’s Neo 2 Smart Trainer is. This is because of the improved pedal stroke analytics. We had no trouble with accuracy at all.

Another thing that really surprised us with this model is how quiet it is when it is in use. We expected it to be a lot louder. Something that we really liked is that we were able to adjust the incline and descent up to 25%, which we found great for varying our workout.

A final plus point is that this turbo trainer is foldable so storing it is very easy. If you want to find a turbo trainer to use with Zwift then this is the one for you.
